So that you've mentioned quite a few stages to creating a few of these types of videos. So I guess we start at the beginning, you mentioned prep. Can you take us through that which means
Okay. So Chris, he probably enjoys soccer, right? Can he have a group? Liverpool. Liverpool. Okay. And is there an opposing group that simply, it is just a rivalry? There the greatest ones. Manchester United, that everybody understands. Okay. Okay. So there's like some natural friction, rivalry that is heavy. Okay. First thing is like, okay, if we're going to actually produce a movie, we need to get a purpose of that movie. The number two is we will need to identify our audience. Who Do we need watching this movie? So I would say it'd be people that are like hardcore Liverpool, Liverpool fans like your brother. Okay. And we must begin breaking down of a few of the things which they, they kind of rally around that would have them excited. And what would be among those things that you'd think, well, beating Manchester United goals.
How you would then approach that. Yeah. We did a lot of research. We were doing a lot of preparation. We want to start executing on these matters. For me there's a formula for every video, and uh and this formula is what creators will need to create to themselves. And there's a few components to this formula it, which it is universal for everybody. The very first one is, and that we prepared for is a hook. We need to catch their attention. Now that hook differs on youtube versus Facebook. Let me give an example of that to you. Like on youtube the hook will be like five seconds. And on Facebook it's gonna be entirely different because you are, you might have sound on or not. As you are kind of flipping through their feed and you perhaps only have a , maybe a second to 3 seconds.
And even on Instagram, it is going to be different. And so looking at this, it's similar to that hook is similar to the part. And I'd really put a great deal of effort and energy to try and figure out how you're going to captivate people's attention and the way you suck them in the content. after that, after the hook, you can really reinforce your brandnew. So in case you've got a brand, you can have a element. This is an optional thing. Uh, it truly depends on which kind of video content you are producing, you know, and, and then two, you are moving into the meat of the content. Now here's something that I found over, you understand, 40 some odd billion views. It's like folks have a tolerance. And if you've fallen in this category, I really don't know, but I, I have been around Facebook before and I have never turned on the audio.
In relation to create one of them? Yeah. Rather than preparing and it's really interesting because a great deal of people, they are more about doing. And I found that if you really want to succeed, it how you're going to do it. So I always like to really begin to determine why I'm making the movie. It should have a purpose. Um, I believe it would be really pertinent to really have you go through this procedure. What does that sound great? Okay. So let's just say that you're attempting to sell some merge. Okay. And you're attempting to sell it. You've got some product or whatever. Okay. So tell me somebody that you know really well. My brother and David, um, besides Joey. Okay. So your, your brother David. Okay. Chris. Brother Chris.
Of course. Yeah, that is logical. Okay. So talking about movie editing from type of my experience and I'm not a professional movie editor and I know how much work goes into doing lots of these things you state, you know, the, the captions Mimi finding, actually just putting titles in the top and bottom of your video may take hours to get many people and some people watching this may have no idea how to do this. So I guess in that regard, is it worth? Could it be worth the time to sit down put time in to editing the movie or alternatively spending money with somebody to sort of, We are going to talk about the one sort of video you have to have so as to blow up your small business, but not about what that video is. We are going to talk about create and how to structure that movie too. Let's go.
Now presumably you'd choose the content you just shot with Reese on your phone or anything into an editing suite or to some post creation. I guess. Do you want to speak about everything you do at that stage yet? Ready to distribute
You've got two or three different versions of a video and you can test it to like, like seriously what we do is we will just throw a couple dollars behind it and also see how it converts. If it converts really well, you don't need to spend that much cash to figure out if people really click on it, engage with it, how much they watched the movie to see whether it actually works. And actually connect with them on an emotional level and so spending the time in place to making your video engage with the viewer, it gives you a higher chance for them to really share.
Hey that Jamie here and on behalf of the Click [inaudible] staff, welcome back into our video series where we're discussing video, but specifically the types of video you ought to be generating to drive more profit and more cliquey worthy video opinions to your small business. In the last video we discussed the promoting industry's condition. When producing video content what's working by today. In this video we're likely to discuss the video content at a bit more detail and talk about ways to create the one video you ought to be creating immediately to drive more clicks, more visitors, and more earnings on any product or service which you're offering.
So Darryl, at the first video we talked briefly on the type of video content that you should be generating, what favor for anyone that didn't observe that or simply to refresh a few memories, which type of video? Which sort of movie is that, if there's 1 movie you should create um, as a business? Yeah, for me it's a social video and two to kind of take that a bit further then, um, and kind of briefly remind everyone which sort of video that is. Can you explain what a video that is social is, but also that sort of video is so vital?
However, the algorithm on youtube differently, you know, you would do it differently onInstagram and distinct on Twitter. But Facebook, I feel a great deal of people that are seeing this video need to capitalize on this and that is a simple way to say, hey look, if you could have this page that has a reach of let us say you know, 10,000 enjoys that they really posted it, who knows how a lot of you is they're likely to get. Um, and, and you reaches out to these different pages where it moves back to your movie and each of the analytics gets. Yeah, it's really cool. No, that is cool. With strategy that is blended, like for me personally, I like organic, but you have infused it with, with ads. Ads is the most effective way to get into in the front of the right people at the ideal time. And if you know what you are doing, it can be very, very effective. We're doing a movie around Liverpool if you don't know what you are doing, it's still be effective as as soon as you say, okay?
video.
You're good. Uh in the event that you truly want your video you will need to actually have of the way you are going to distribute it, a prep stage. So back you're like, okay, who is going to actually share this movie? How are you going to participate with them? You know, is it likely to be done through advertisements natural or is it going to become a blended strategy in which you doing organic and adds? Uh, for me, I love other stations on the market. I love webpages on Facebook reason they need to actually nourish the algorithm. They need to get their posts outreach. And a lot of people are willing to talk about your video. Uh, but furthermore, they are, they're in a position to cross post your own video. And therefore it's like coming from their page and it's like an content, even it's not theirs.
Perhaps you've never, you simply watched the, the captions and things like this? I do. I catch myself. I am like, why did not I turn it ? Nevertheless, it's so much better using salad. Right. But it's like people consume at various times, different times of the day. Um, but what I found is if you can hook themif you are able to find that hook, whether it's about Facebook, on Youtube, on Instagram, you literally need them for 20 seconds and that 20 seconds should be your gold. It is like you have to fortify that hook or you need to reinforce what your value proposition is to receive them in, while it's a name or a thumbnail or however you are pulling them into that video. Um, you need to reinforce that since if you don't, you are going to get the hockey stick on effect. That means all the people that begin washing it begin to leave, you understand, and you not going to get anyone watching it at that moment.
We are discussing shooting articles, we're discussing adding texts, adding images, animations, and we are also talking about adding captions, Emojis, all of that stuff can be constructed and edited it right inside of [inaudible]. Now, the most important reason we constructed clip Ian was so that it's accessible to absolutely everybody and we are speaking even if you've never created a video earlier, you would like to get into video creation for your company or you are a professional, it is possible to produce what you may create anywhere else right inside of Klipfolio and what is more, even in the event that you don't want to shoot your content clippy or provides you access to an extensive library of video clips, images and audio, she is able to pull all of this stuff together to build videos. We'll also throw in templates. So if you fill in a bit uninspired, by way of instance, you can just catch one of our pre done video templates, alter the colours along with the text, upload your branding and your doing clip. Eao is the greatest video creator and it is going to alter the way both professionals and beginners produce video moving forward. We can't wait to show you it, so be sure that you put in your email below. Within another video, we're likely to pull back the curtain on reverse Filipeo and show you how this platform functions and it's going to change the way. We'll see you.
Right, right. And one thing that I discovered is even when you've got a video that's performing very well, you know, um, the way that the algorithm operates on Facebook and other items, it is like maybe in fourteen days or seven weeks you do another cut and then upload it, learn from what you have, all of the information that is there and say, fine, what should we analyzed this down since we had a kind of a drop off here. We add, you know, something to pull on them visually here. Uh, you can do that. And, and where you're able to perform it, basically you're able to be successful because people will be inclined to forget what they saw, you know, from six months ago.
It can sort of look like it's theirs. And that is a matter that is really, really significant. So going back to your case that we said, hey, if we are going to actually make a movie about your brother and his soccer team about Liverpool, while it's bad or good or anything, I would like create a list of every, uh, webpage on Facebook on Instagram that would check here be pro or con. Um, you realize that is who we would like to contact. And believe it or not, you know, becoming, uh, those connections with these people is a means to have massive growth. And I discovered that if you can get like six or five or 10 stations or pages which are similar to yours who are eager to share your content, I mean that explodes your, your growth, that explodes yourown reach and you are likely to have the views that come with it if you truly have done a great job with your video.
Okay. So prepared created the video. So we don't load it now. Yep. That you'd say most of the people and say, okay that's just distribution
Or perhaps linkedin. Yeah. And so that's part of the prep preparatory stage? And what we're attempting to do is figure out, fine, here is what will work on Instagram. Now there's something or a hook which's a little bit better on Facebook and here's something different on youtube. So you can actually have the meat of the material be exactly the same. But you are really shooting on the movie it's really delivered is a bit different. And that's where you are actually planning, uh, you know, the different strategies to actually connect on platform.
And what's the first thing which you think he is going to do? Once that link with the video fills , probably share the video. He is going to discuss it with not only one individual, but he's gonna share with everyone that actually enjoys what is happening, you understand? And that there's absolutely critical. Then the next issue is, uh, actually hoping to describe what would be a great hook trigger just like you literally only have a few few seconds to catch his attention. And that I believe, okay, what can we do to grab his attention? You know? And, and maybe it's a caption above the movie that says, you understand, Liverpool's sucks. Yeah. I presume, I believe he would watch that video. You know what I am saying? And I think that he'd have to be sucked in because he tried to figure out what's going on in that video.
It is like once you find something cool and you're like, hey, you have ta check this out. You know, we have to do that. We've got to that word of mouth. And that is where it's so powerful and that is what the societal videos do. And so after the center, essentially of the content, you have to get a call to act. Um, also, and you might not think, well, if it is a social video, I am not actually doing it , you know, it's simply more of an inspiration or it is merely a [inaudible] or anything. That call to action is still crucial since are? Like recall when we talked about what's the video's purpose? Or if it's to sell goods, we need to hit that purchase button directly or to push on them into a landing page. Uh, you know, or whether it is for inspirational, perhaps it's like something or a Hashtag to unite a cause, I mean the list goes on.
Well let us just target everyone that enjoys Liverpool, right? And let us target everyone that doesn't like Liverpool. And let us see if we can get some things occurring here, some. And I believe that you could do this just but should you infuse a small bit of money, it'll be quite interesting. The results. It's possible to get your silently. Definitely. I think anybody watching this movie now has an overview or a blueprint to create not a video book in, knowing what to create and how to push out there properly and, and those secrets, uh amazing. And for anyone we have actually put together. Um that whole blueprinta few different things that we didn't fit into this movie, um, which you can grab below this video.
So it's like getting those hooks. And then two, there's those organic hooks within the movie itself. Like that he got himyou have to fortify whatever that title is. And I give that some thought. Um, and that the preparatory stage before you move onto the next step. But there is another thing that I really, really look at is that which, what origin of medium are we going to use? Is it likely to become a better Instagram one than Facebook? Is it going to be much better on Twitter or on youtube? You know, what's going to be the ideal method and just like you have to examine the stage of that you are trying to achieve. Now, one of the biggest errors, it is like, well I will just distribute it everywhere, you know, and you're making a video seeking to go on every stage and that's a huge mistake. Yeah.
Yeah, for example, like the movie part of the video editing is so critical. It may either make or break a movie. Um, it doesn't matter how amazing your script is. It doesn't matter your manufacturing and your camera is. Where it actually, the rubber meets the road to find out if it's going to really work or not, the editing is. And for me, as soon as you're in a position to take action, it's worth the sources worth the time. And when you put it together, it is going to convert a great deal higher. Um, which at the end of the day, that's by far apart from homework, uh, you know, the preparation stage and it's similar to the execution stage to the editing has become the most crucial.
So we've discussed the initial phase of getting ready for a movie planning of movie. We moved creating the video and to obviously production. So can speak a bit about
So when you truly have these bullet points of things which would really get there, get there, get them excited or something that's happening, then attempt to think of what value can you actually bring that person. So there you can really attract value. Uh, with movie content you can expect, you can instruct or educate, entertain, and occasionally when you are really good you can do all three at the exact same time or you'll be able to get two of them. That is when you're really, really good when you're actually giving it a lot of thought in it. Now that having been said, once you do so, I try to determine which value you are going to attract to your planned audience. Yeah. And I try to bring those bullet points then bring some type of value. So whether it is like creating devotion to his staff or talking how bad the other group is, that is some value he'll really find.
So with that, just to kind of go into this, and do you load the video first to your page then contact all these are the pages to allow them to know it is never, or do you take another strategy? Yeah, so I do this in the phase. I understand I, the movies come in and so I reached out since it might take a couple of weeks to get ahold of everybody or whatever. Uh, and who knows, maybe you're like, Hey, I'll discuss your video should you share mine kind thing. If you're doing PR crossposting 13, that's not a bad thing. Where the burden is uh, simply to share a video isn't. Like you've got to cross it and you have to give them privileges. And that's kind of the key to Facebook, although the same for, you know, you're posting their content.
Yeah, that makes sense. And I suppose from looking at these three phases, as soon as you've been through those phases a few times, and as you state, you do edits which can be vital. And most of us would, you know, she video, I have been guilty of this in the past and it'll throw up thinking it's prepared without stuff that is edited. But I can see just how important because when you discover things that work, you may just continue following that blueprint over and over and over again, it is to do different variations.
That is logical. Makes Sense. Okay. So that makes total sense. Um, but something I want to circle back really quickly is that you mentioned if you're creating video and among the ideas everyone has, I mean, I have had this before when I've created videos, I will only share the exact same movie anyplace. Would you elaborate on this is a lousy idea? And that is a type of a thought process.
All you have to do is select in, pop up your email in there, we'll send you that manual. So throughout this movie along with the very first movie, we have talked a great deal about producing the ideal video which includes everything from naturally prep, right the way through to actually shooting the movie and then of course the article of where you've got to edit the movie up in the right way and to receive the best distribution. Now that all is very hard. The majority of people don't have access to camera equipment to shoot film content. For instance. Most people don't have access or the skills to use complex editing software , and that's the reason why we construct Klipfolio. Klipfolio is a web based video creator that essentially permits you to create incredible looking videos. Just in the two videos we have talked about like the movies at the palm of your hand.
The post production is probably the most crucial component of getting a really good slice of video out there. And the reason is because you put a great deal of work in preparing, you devote a lot of time doing production, but really where the magic is is actually getting the elements that will truly engage. And then the edit itself, um, is you are able to create pacing and pacing will keep people's attention the entire time. Uh at is like we are, we're working to determine how we're going to disperse it. We would do it on youtube compared to Facebook. For instance. We would be nine ratio on youtube, in a 16 because that is the way it is on youtube. Right? And, and then to, uh, we wouldn't always burn off in our captions. Uh, we would really just upload caption files.
But on Facebook we would like to burn it because some people do not have that choice on and you want to be certain when they're scrolling through it, you are grabbing that attention. So he's like? Exactly. And it is like the ratio we wish to be a one by one ratio of ratio. Right? So what components that we can actually add to this file? Is it like to make it more of a meme where we are placing texts the beginning of the ending, um, you know, is it engaging with different types of components? That is the things you've got to look at when you're doing the movie edit. The thing I love is if we did the production directly and we have various options like cause they are called to act, we will need to , we did five or four different versions.
So if we talk about moving onto every stage, I think that is, this is quite important also. There are well I believe there are two elements you might tell me differently. The biggest one that we think of is the proportion of the video. Therefore, if you create in 1 video, you've got to think about how that transcribes into each of the other ones. But is there other, anything else you would kind of want to be aware of if you're going to be generating content for state, Instagram or Facebook
So is that all for production? You know, like a great deal of people place a lot of consideration concerning how things come like what type of camera to use and so on and so forth. However, I believe for me it is like be elastic. Although we ready, when you're really doing the movie, you have a script and have like that you're going to have things. They're like, you know and oh, this could be a great deal better if we did so, shoot variants. Like you've got time, just shoot some variants that are different. Hey, maybe this will function better than that. And you know, which will aid you the post production phase.
Or when we think of players, possibly Mohamed Sala, he's, that Liverpool is best player may be hitting on scoring against United, I do not understand. Yeah, yeah, you are able to do clips . But even talking about they love, you understand, Liverpool, correct. And, and also the behind it. Um, so I like to try to identify a few things. These are of what could that person that when he watches with movie with bullet points. And two, I really do research. Just like I want to go out there and also understand just how well I know someone, I'm like, what else is happening out there? So I do some research online trying to see if there. Particularly when it's dealing with the topic available, uh. So like for Liverpool, is there anything that's going on that will be in the news that would be relevant to, to the video today?
And so you must fortify it. And, also that stage when we were speaking about your brother, it's like if you add one of those other elements that is like, yeah, yeah, I like this video. You know, you're like, totally go from there. That's where he will stay on a little bit longer. And if you get 20 seconds, if he can get to there and actually feel some type of connection to the video, they will watch another minute, does not subsequently lead to more engagement on the movies as well. So they would be more prone. And 12 we see remarks. Yeah, absolutely. It is like as you are connecting together and you're speaking their language or however you're going to it, you're connecting with them on an emotional level and they feel a part of something and they feel like dumb. It that humanity feels bound to perform.
Absolutely.
You know, until we do this, there's a good deal of people who begin recording and pick up a camera which can be one of the things that you could ever do. And there are stages, like you mentioned, there is a point of preparation, there's a stage of creation, there is a point of post production, and then there's a stage for distribution. And every one of those stages are critical, uh, and they function in harmony to get your movie. It's like you've got content and it can be shared by you on different programs, but it needs to be changed. Yeah. Because how you see on Instagram differs. How you see Facebook and how you see Youtube, how different, how you see on, on Linkedin or Twitter. And in the end of the day, what we need to do is really understand how folks consume content on that, that, that stage and earn content which would actually work. Uh, and that's, that is the huge difference. Now you say and can go, okay, I will take a portion of this. It's like you may have a 10 second video on youtube, however you're going to just slice out possibly two minutes or three minutes , on Facebook because it is going to execute a whole lot better that way.
